COVID-19 Policy

The health of client and practitioner is always of paramount importance, and the current climate has highlighted why there should be a heavy focus on hygiene, and the need for extra vigilance. Below detail the steps in place within the two clinic settings I work in, in order to ensure your safety and mine, as well as for any other therapists or visitors that are using the clinics.

It is important that you contact me and change/cancel your appointment if you meet any of the following criteria:

  • You have a high temperature

  • You have a new cough

  • You have a loss/change to your taste/smell

  • You have been an impatient in hospital in the last 14 days

  • You have been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19 in the last 10 days

You are required to wear a facemask when you are inside the building, and to clean your hands with the handwash provided when entering and leaving. You will be required to have your temperature taken before entering.

The therapist will wear a face mask at all times, and a visor/goggles when treating the face/neck.

Fort Stamford Health Club, Mountbatten

The treatment and entire club is treated with TECcare, an anti-microbial technology that ensures no virus can survive on the surface. Although it last 4 weeks, it is reapplied every 2-3 weeks.

Parts of the building have filtering units that filter the air through ultraviolet and HEPA filters to kill any pathogens present.
